Broadwood is the oldest piano company in the world, dating back to early in the 18th century. Throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, many of the greatest pianists and composers owned or performed on Broadwood pianos, including Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt. Broadwoods were regarded as powerful and sturdy instruments, well-suited to concert use.

This late 19th century grand piano has an elegant case with tapered hexagonal legs, sliding candelabra trays, and lovely wood grain. It has a full, warm sound and responsive action. It will receive a full restoration, including a beautiful French Polish on the case and a fully restored interior. Photos are of piano prior to restoration.
